God is Human !!

Recently i visited a place in Andhra Pradesh called Puttaparthi. It is where Sri Sathya Sai Baba resides and an Ashram is built on his name. It was part of an official all doctors' visit from my hospital. I would like to share some of my experiences and tell more about Sri Sathya sai baba.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born as Sathyanarayana Raju on November 23, 1926 in the village of Puttaparthi, in the state of Andhra Pradesh in South India. Even as a child, His spiritual inclination and contemplative nature set Him apart from other children of His age. But it was not until 20 th October 1940, he declared himself of his Avatarhood. Today millions of people around the world worship him as God, Saint, Spiritual Leader, and all kinds of names. Thousands of people daily come to his Ashram, Prasanti nilayam in the small village of Puttaparthi to seek his blessings, seek solace and peace.
Sri Sathya Sai Baba is an integral manifestation who combines two very significant roles. Firstly, He is a great spiritual Master, famed for His simple and sweet exposition of the greatest and most intricate of spiritual truths which form the fundamental teachings of all the religions of the world. Elucidating on His mission, He declares “I have come not to disturb or destroy any faith, but to confirm each in his own faith, so that the Christian becomes a better Christian, the Muslim a better Muslim and the Hindu a better Hindu.” His formula for man to lead a meaningful life is the five-fold path of Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanthi (Peace), Prema (Love) and Ahimsa (Non-Violence). Love for God, fear of sin and morality in society – these are His prescriptions for our ailing world.
Secondly his Love for humanity is immense. Its pretty evident from all the charity work his organization does, by building free hospitals, free education, establishing drinking water plants, even supplying water to metros like chennai and free housing projects. This all stand testimony to his selfless love and compassion for the needy and less privileged. He has inspired and continues to inspire millions of his devotees worldwide by his personal example to live the ideal that service to man is service to God. The Sri Sathya Sai Organization today has a presence in over 167 countries in the world and members undertake group service activities that benefit their immediate community.
I work in one of such free hospitals in bangalore. Its a superspeciality hospital, where all complicated cardiac and neurosurgeries are done free of cost. Right from patient entering the hospital, his daily medications and food everything are taken care by the hospital.  Sathya Sai Medical Trust operates two super-speciality hospitals:
· Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram located in Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh, with the departments of Cardiology / Cardio-Thoracic Vascular Surgery, Urology and Ophthalmology.

· Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Whitefield located in Bangalore(where i work) in the state of Karnataka, with the departments of Cardiac sciences and Neuro-sciences.

and two General Hospitals one in prasanthigram and one in whitefield.
I wanted to share my experiences during last weekend visit to puttaparthi. As we r hospital doctors, we got special darshan and we even got to touch Sai baba's lotus feet and seek blessings. He even accepted personal letters from most of the doctors. Was really a spiritually rejuvenating experience being there.
Finally, whatever people may say, whether good or bad about him. There are lot of accussations against sathya sai baba in the last decade tantalizing him but at the end of the day we must respect him for the good work hes doing. i don't think no where in the world you can get free cardiac or neurosurgeries done, nowhere in this world you can find a university which has the motto of free education, which by the way is if very high standards. They even stress on sports, for an overall development of a child.
In our hindu religion, we worship so many idols of gods, other religions also worship different gods, then why can't we worship a human, who has done so much for mankind, making him nothing less than god.
There are lot of websites about Sathya sai baba. Interested people can check it out.

Remembering Carnage 26/11/2008

Exactly an year ago, Few youngsters across the border, stepped in to our country, into the city of joy and life "Mumbai" , and opened gunfire at every innocent face in the city.  Many innocent people died, who were just leading a normal life. Tears rolled out in the eyes of every indian, they left our hearts bleeding. Less that we knew , we'l be left just being sympathetic towards people who died and could do nothing when just so many people were killed in the CST  railway station. The unpreparedness on our part, played a big catalyst for the terrorists in these attacks
The lives of the slain officers' family has changed, has changed dramatically. We may sing praises for years together for officers Ashok Kamte, Vijay Salaskar, Hemant Karkare, Major Unnikrishnan, the names are never ending. But whats done about it. To mark the Anniversary of 26/11, we must pledge to have a better security system, better intelligence, better resources, better training to tackle such situations. We need a effective crisis management committee. We must ensure the family of the people affected should not suffer. Of course , nothing can compensate their loss, but atleast we can help them in their grief, and support both mentally and financially.
Mumbai has become the punching bag for terroists. Attacks keep coming and we are helpless. The candlelight vigils and sms campaigns may seem ineffectual, but lets not underestimate the power of an enlightened citizenry in the media age. But how effective will be this enlightenedness, or will it die down as we get used to lead a normal life as nothing has happened is to see in the future. Together as a nation, we must stand against terorrism and protect ourselves and our country in whichever way we can.

In a small way, i want to donate some money to an NGO which is still working in rehabilitating affected people in attacks. You can also play a part. For every comment, i'l donate Rs. 20  towards the relief fund. Details of the NGO will be updated later.
Thank you !!

Have a Hearty Life !!

There has been a growing incidence of heart diseases in India in the last decade. The levels have almost increased exponentially.
Today i had a patient for Coronary artery bypass surgery. He looked like a routine case for surgery. I took a look at his file. It said " 27 yrs / M " . I was really shocked to see his age. He has had an episode of Myocardial Infarction some 6 months back and now had come for a bypass surgery. Above all he was diagnosed of having Diabetes too. A guy with such young age has come with symptoms and problems, which a person used to have only after some 45-50 yrs a decade ago. Everyone had this mindset that heart diseases occur only in elderly. But nowadays, lot of  young population in india are having stress related cardiac problems. The incidence of heart diseases and similar problems, have been alarmingly high these days, with so much stress involved in day to day life. In this over competitive world, its tough to stay ahead of the rest, without taking a toll on ur health and mind.
Its better to take precaution from early age, rather than suffering later. Ive just put some points to take care of your beloved Heart -
Exercise regularly
If you have a family history of heart disease, you really need to exercise regularly and maintain healthy lifestyle
Meditation helps a lot , de-stresses you
Avoid eating oily fried food daily
Use refined safflower or sunflower oil for cooking, avoid coconut oil - lot of heart diseases seen in malayali population
Avoid any addictions like alcohol or smoking, occassional drinking or smoking should'nt hurt :P
Eat more nutritious foods like green leafy vegetables, eggs, avoid more of meat.
Use less salt and sugar in your food

Be happy, don't worry much
Take 1-2 trips in a year. Its really important to get out of you routine schedule and visit some places of solaces and calm.
Take less stress in life, you got just one life, so live it easy.

More Importantly be positive in life and be cheerful and smiling everyday.

Birthday over , Fun over

Yesterday 10th of october was my birthday. Another candle in the cake of my life. got to spend time with my friends.
Day began with my colleagues, throwing me a nice surprise, got me a cake. was kinda nice, though it was not the ideal place to cut cake.Since we were all busy and it was a working day, i cut my cake in the Operation theatre. well not exactly operation theatre but in a room beside the OT complex. Felt nice, i mean i guess i cut a cake on my birthday after about 3 years.
This time people who called up to wish me on my birthday were very less. I guess once u get older, people who remember u also goes on reducing. Still i got wishes from most of the expected people and few unexpected ones too :)
In the evening, went for a drink with couple of friends. It was a much needed break from the busy work schedule. For one day you feel on top of the world, you are the centre of attraction. Everyone is dying to talk to you. and when it comes to an end, you feel sad, that the special day is over. Still what the hell, i had a great birthday, not the exact way i wanted it to be. But still better than last year..
Thanks a lot again for everyone for making my birthday special in a special way ..

A Legend called Arsene Wenger!!

I wanted to write this article for sometime now. Im a big fan of Arsenal since the last 10 years . Ive seen this club change and evolve under the leadership of Arsene Wenger.
Arsene Wenger is now the longest serving manager in the history of Arsenal. He took over as manager of Arsenal after the Bruce Rioch in 1996. Since 1996, he has been at the helm of Arsenal's managerial position till now. With Wenger at arsenal, its not always been about trophies and accolades, but hes given unique memories and made up the career of many great players of this decade. Its been a pleasure for all the Arsenal fans around the world  to watch this team evolve in the last decade.
There has been some special moments while he has been in Arsenal.
Arsenal's 1st double in 1998 season and the 2nd double in 2002
Making of Legend called Thierry Henry
Showcasing the awesome Dennis Bergkamp to the world.
2004 : The Invincibles. One of  the greatest achievement by Arsenal and Arsene.
The final stats read : Played 49, Won 36, Drawn 13, Lost None
FA cup victory in 2002.
Snapping Sol Campbell from arch rivals Tottenham , who later on became on of the successful defenders at Arsenal.
Dominance over Arch rivals Tottenham in the whole of last decade.
Runner up in Champions League 2005 -06 , because the run up to the final was just memorable with some great performances.
The Rivalry  with Alex ferguson and Manchester United has been really fulfilling to watch the competitive spirit between the 2 managers and both teams. Perhaps the most successful managers of English club football. Leave aside the rivalry, but both managers don't shy to give appreciation for each other.
The Belief of Arsene wenger in his youth policy, thereby unearthing some gems in to mainstream football like Cesc fabregas, Theo walcott, Mathieu flamini, and more recently Jack wilshere.
Its like Arsene Wenger was born to be at Arsenal, even his name is embedded in club's name.
Theres more to write about Wenger, its just unending..

There has been some frustrating moments too in the last few years. many trophyless seasons, but finally we all gooners believe  " IN ARSENE WE TRUST "

How to be Mr. Impossible ??

With special request from some one, i am creating this weird post. Many would like it :)
So How do u be Mr. Impossible . so much that gals will get fed up of you .

1 - First and foremost act pricey :) as if u were the most charismatic personality in the world

2 - Act as if u know it all, u're super wise.

3 - Pretend you are always busy and have no time to date.

4 - Be as lazy as you can and never call.

5 - When you meet a gal after long time and she asks ' How do i look? ', You say 'you look healthy' .

6 - When a gal shows off her hand expecting you to hold her hand, you just say, 'Oh ! ur hands are really pale'

7 - When you meet a gal after a long time, reach late, and make some lazy, lame excuses for reaching late.

8 - When the gal wants a real nice hug, hug as if you are hugging your sister.

9 - When a gal comes closer to kiss you, you look away and look at the sky and say 'looks like its going to rain'.

10- And lastly when the gal wants to come to your house, to spend some time with you. You say you have some friends coming over for a party.

P.S - Make sure you have enough cover to run, before you say such things to gals :P
All the Best ..

Sexual Abuse in Children!!

Recently i was talking to a friend. I just realized child sexual abuse is so rampant in india. Almost 50% of women ive met have suffered some kind of sexual abuse in their childhood. Whats more disturbing is their own relatives are involved in such bad practices.
where are we heading to. At one end our economy is progressing up and people in our country are embracing the broader, global mentality into their day to day living and at the other end such kind of abuse with children still continues or should i say maybe increased too. Who is to blame? Our society, people, system. Sad part is the children don't even know what they're going through. when they realize, its too late. People in own blood relationship indulge in such cowardly practices. There has been instances of father molesting his own daughter. Many of them don't have the courage to stand up against such wrong practices due to threats from the accused, or the fear of affecting familial relations. One should realize, if someone indulges in such dirty doings, he is not fit to be in the family. The society should stand up against this abuse, and protect their children. Recently i read an article in newspaper, where young boys are also being sexually abused by their relatives.
We seriously need some proper sex education in our system. Every school whether government or private, should give proper sex education to all the students by maybe class 6th or 7th. The word should be spread to smallest of smallest villages to biggest cities in the country, so that these young children don't become a victim or accused as they grow up. After all those who do abuse children also have turned into what they are because of proper education, or maybe otherwise. I don't know whether these things happen in developed literate countries but I strongly feel good education plays a big part in our upbringing in life.

Westernisation

I was casually browsing few websites. I noticed all the websites of different organisations and companies in india have photos of american n european males and females. Even the top notch hospitals and indian organisations do it. I don't understand why. The company establishment is in india, the employees are indians, still they want to put some foriegn faces on their websites.
Here in india , people have a very wrong notion, that if we put colourful foriegn faces in our websites, people will get impressed. No !! infact i find it very irritating. I want to see faces of people associated with the firm on the website, not some unknown foriegn faces. Here we think westernising things adds to the cool quotient. ya it may be cool for some, and works to some extent, but should not cross the limits.
Why do we need some foriegn faces to improve any company's stature. Right now india has developed into a strong economy, people from abroad come to india, because we got lot of scope of expanding. we have lot of indian faces who've established themselves successfully in the world scene.

Trek to Skandagiri ( Kalvarahalli betta)

Yesterday we went to a nice place for trekking called skandagiri mountains. locals know it as kalwarahalli beta. It is off Bellary Road (NH-7 Hyderabad-Bangalore Highway), and is very close to Nandi Hills and Chikkaballapura. The peak is at an altitude of about 1350 meters. It is every adventurer’s paradise with beautiful night trek, stunning sunrise, and serene and swimming clouds that sometimes limits visibility to just a few meters. Its actually famous for its Moonlight trek, but we din't have time, so went at day time..

Skandagiri is one of the hill forts in the Nandi Hill ranges. The dilapidated walls of  Tipu Sultan's fort can be seen even today . History says this was a small but strong hill fort. Tipu Sultan reportedly captured this fort from a local ruler by bribing two milk women who used to supply milk to the ruler to poison him and his men to death. It surrendered to British troops on 19 October 1791. It remained in British hands until the peace treaty of 1792, which concluded the third Anglo-Mysore war.

How to get there ?
We actually took bus, but if u have your own vehicle, it will save time and money. We started from our place in whitefield to majestic bus stand. From Majestic bus stand, we took a KSRTC bus to a place called Chikballapur(70 kms). It takes about 60-75 mins to reach chikballapur from bangalore. Once there we took a Auto to a place called Papagni Matt (5 kms). Ask for Papagni matt or Papagni betta, no one knows kalvarahalli betta or skandagiri. Once you reach there, u'l find a temple at the foot of the hills. u got ample parking space there. There will be some people who will be asking if u need guide. Dnt take it, the routes are straightforward. There are arrows everywhere and its straightforward. Though we somehow managed to loose track and wandered into dense jungle.. that was scary. We somehow got back on track, with a help from some local goats:)

Time Taken
It takes about 2 hrs to climb up for professionals, for amateurs , it might take about 3-4 hrs depending on ur skills. and about 1 hr to come down. We were very much amateurs so it took as bout 3 hrs to reach the top. The best part of the trek was it never seem to end. You reach one point at the top, thers another dilapidated fort remains to reach, it never seems to end. Though it got a little frustrating and tiring for us, we somehow managed to reach the top. But the view from the top was so spectacular, we were all energized after that. By the time we started coming down, it started raining, but we  managed to come down safely within an hour.

Things to take
Make sure you hae enough water, food and first aid. There is nothing available for the entire trek. Take good torches, if ure doing a night trek.

Finally as we got down and left, we got a beautiful view of the hill we just climbed, it was beautiful. Over all we were happy that we conquered the peak :)

Anesthetist who??

These days, when i meet new people. I kinda don't want to say what im doing. because they don't understand wht do i do. Thers very little information about anesthesia or anesthetists among common people.
Few people have asked me, 'such a branch exists?' , 'sumtin related to asthma ?' , 'whts there in anesthesia - just make the patient sleep'. While in some the knowledge of anesthesia is limited to chloroform, an agent leisurely abused in bollywood. Well such weird and discouraging questions are just a small example of the amount of ignorance among common people.
I just want to put up a broader perspective of this reality. Anesthesiologists just don't make the people sleep, they also take care of the intensive care unit, trauma centres etc. They are usually the first person to be called in an ER, in case of emergency, usually life threatening circumstances. They handle specialized ventilators, and are often the last mode of help, when there is a difficulty in intravenous line. They are usually the part of all emergency teams in hospitals. Even in lot of surveys done across the world, even in the most educated of all countries, the info regarding anesthesia is very less.
Basically its a thankless job. because the patient usually comes to anesthetist either for a surgery or a dire emergency, there is not too much interaction with the patient. Like In a big budget movie, everyone sings the praises of the Actors or directors, the cameramen, choreographers, or editors, dont get so much credit like the others. Similarly in any successful surgeries, the limelight is on someone else. One senior doctor had rightly commented, Anesthesiologists are ' backbench doctors'. still no qualms about it , coz thts how its gonna be in the future too. I chose this field not for popularity but out of interest.
Adios

Sabse Bada King !! Manmohan Singh !!

There has been kind of astonishing results in the General Elections 2009. The United Progressive Alliance led by Congress have had a landslide victory in this elections. The result is a one of the most phenomenal result over a decade.
All the kingmakers, aspirants, Heroes are out. Now the long and twisted wish list of potential kingmakers lie in tatters as they wake up to the post-poll reality. The numbers, on which they were shoring up their dreams, are not simply not with them this time round. Theres only King, our honourable Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. Singh is in!!! Whatever may be the comments. Some say hes a weak leader, some say hes a visionary. Some say hes a puppet in the hands of Sonia Gandhi, some say hes a great leader. Whatever it may be, whether u love him or hate him, you cant deny the fact that his hardwork, sincerity, charisma, determination has been a major factor in congress' big win. Hes been at the helm of lot of criticism lately. The Nuclear Deal was a one of the biggest achievement of UPA  government and i stand for their decision.
Even as the politically underrated Manmohan Singh, equanimous in victory, spoke at the 10 Janpath residence of Congress president Sonia Gandhi, thousands of frenzied supporters shouted slogans, danced and exploded firecrackers on the streets.
He said 'We have an obligation to the people of India to provide a stable and secular government,' underlining the two core themes that helped the Congress retain power in one of most fiercely fought electoral battles since independence 62 years ago.
Today's thumping victory was widely credited to the unassuming Manmohan Singh, who only five years was propelled to the top post after the Italy-born Gandhi refused the prime minister's job. With this, Manmohan Singh has achieved the distinction of becoming the first prime minister after Jawaharlal Nehru to be returned after completing a full term in office.

Randomssssss

I have a Live Traffic widget in my blog which shows the where do my visitors come from, like from which site they usually aland up in my blog.
Everytime i access my blog, i have a habit of looking whos visiting. Most of my readers come from google search. Im surprised with the amount of google search used by people all around the world.
I realised most of my visitors searched for birthday rap and landed into the post named ' birthday Rap ' a rap i had composed for a friend of mine. Im getting maximum visitors for this post of mine. I was surprised my bday rap or crap became so popular ...lol
The 2nd most common search was Republic day. I was so thrilled to see so many of indians staying in and outside india, still value days like these close to our country's history. I posted this post with title ' Happy Republic Day ' about a year ago. Just to tell many of us ignorant people, what it meant. It was great to see at least a few visitors commenting and thanking me for my effort.
Its nice to see Indian youth interested in Indian history. We sure are proud of being Indian, but we need to show it to our country and do something good for the development of our country..

Earth Hour 2009

Earth Hour is an initiative by WWF (world wildlife fund), a campaign against global warming.
Its based on an idea that switching off our electricity for 1 hour in an area, locality can aid a lot against Global warming. Imagine a whole city shutting off lights, the effects are really exponential.
Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights.
In 2009, India joins Earth Hour for the first time. New Delhi and Mumbai are among 825 cities across 80 countries and territories that have pledged their support to VOTE EARTH during Earth Hour 2009.
In 2009, Earth Hour is being taken to the next level, with the goal of 1 billion people switching off their lights as part of a global vote. Unlike any election in history, it is not about what country you’re from, but instead, what planet you’re from. VOTE EARTH is a global call to action for every individual, every business, and every community. A call to stand up and take control over the future of our planet.
VOTE EARTH campaign was simple by just switching off the lights for one hour on Saturday, March 28, 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm local time.
I was in the hospital, during this time. As im on call in the hospital, I cannot switch off the whole hospital lights. I did my bit by switching off lights in my room and  the adjoining rooms for 1 hour between 8.30 pm and 9.30 pm. and i felt really good about it. Imagine the effect of switching off lights in the entire country and world would be. This campaign is phenomenal and the attention and importance that it has got is even more encouraging. Its a small bit we can give back to mother earth. If we can have similar campaigns every year, the results would be really great..
Kudos too WWF to come up with such a wonderful idea and successfully campaigning it..

When You Can't !!!

God has made this world, with so many incidents, lives, needs intermingled with each other. I used to think that thers always some solution to a problem.
But my beliefs came to an abrupt end, when i recently met a patient. She was a mid 20 something lady. If u wud look at her past, u would say, shes any normal girl going to school, college and so on. She finished her bachelors degree in Arts.
One Day all of a sudden, She had pain in the neck and weakness in the limbs. Her Family being in a village, they wend to some local ayurvedic practitioner. Don't know what he did, but he put some needles in the neck of the girl. And now you see her after about 6 months, shes on a Wheelchair, with her head completely flexed to her chest, she can't lift her head, she can't walk , her hands and feet have become weak. Shes been in the same state since almost 4-5 months. Im not a senior doctor, But the seniors in our hospital assessed her, whether anything can be done for her. But we finally realised her problem had progressed to such a stage, nothing can be done about it. This was their family's last hope, they went everywhere across many states to find a solution for the girl, but same answer everywhere. Ours being a very superior and tertiary hospital, they had high hopes that their girl would be alright. As the girl was waiting after her assessment, she was a bit sedated, but she was talking to me, about how her mother takes care of her everyday, feeds her, helps her lie down on the bed somehow, massages her limbs and neck with oil. As she was talking tears rolled down her eyes. She said , its better to die, rather than living such a painful and dependent life. Even though she was so dependent, she was very brave and confident.
Usually im not that sentimental guy, and being in this profession, ive learnt to be so, but as the girl was talking, I felt really bad and it hurt me to the core, that even with so many medical advancements, we can't give that young girl her life, a life any girl would atleast want, to live with their family, get married, have a happy married life. It hurts to imagine that maybe she would be in such a way her entire life. It hurts to say ' we can't do anything'.
As i went to the ward today, i saw her in one corner of the ward sitting in her wheelchair, writing something in a notebook. I thought maybe she has good writing skills, she could learn to survive in life. But i din't have the courage to go near her. Then her relatives met me, they were still enquiring, hard to believe that thers no treatment option for her. Her brother told me, that their mother is so upset about her daughter, that hes afraid she might get a heart attack or something... I felt helpless...
Hope she finds some way to help herself in life.......

Bangalore Indiblogger meet 2009

Yesterday evening I went to this bangalore blogger meets by Indiblogger.in . Indiblogger.in is a blog directory website for indian bloggers as well as some cool forums and other stuff.
So first time I was going to any bloggers meet, so was really exciting. It started with a 1 minute of fame for all the boggers, where you had to introduce yourself. I turned up a bit late, so missed out on that. but no issues, there were really interesting introductions..
Then there was a talk on security issues for bloggers, which was really informative for people like me..
Nxt was launch and a sneak peek at windows 7 by two guys. They had a nice ppt presentation, but kinda boring for me, coz I had no clue about all the technical stuff. But nevertheless , they had a decent presentation.
Next session was clearly the best - the eating session, we gulped some tasty pizzas, and cola, felt really refreshing:)
In the end we wrapped it up with a nice group discussion on blogging, monetization, twitter and other stuff. we were enlightened by a guy named Sherin, he called himself  'The Money Maniac' , he shared with us his tactics of getting higher pagerank, monetization tips etc. That was amazing..
Overall it was a great meet, good getogether, looking forward to attend some more similar meets..

Another disappointing game !!!

Yesterday, i met 2 fellow Arsenal fans, So we decided to watch the Arsenal game together. After a long time i was watching game wid fellow gooners. The game was against Sunderland.
As we were watching the game together, we were excited about the match, and we were confident we can grab a win, specially after the midweek trashing of cardiff. And the new boy Andrei Arshavin was going to make a debut. So we were even more excited.
As the game started, Arsenal made a good start, with couple of close chances, 2 of them from Arshavin. Van Persie missed a sitter in the opening minutes of the game, and i guess that cost us the match. The midfield were not that effective in creating chances for the strikers, And when they did , there was no one in the box to take that crucial headers. Van persie and bendtner totally looked out of place. Denilson and Song hardly created chances and game finally ended in a 0-0 draw. Arsenal's 3rd consecutive 0-0 draw in the league. Was really frustrating specially after a very good game in Midweek. Whats even more frustrating is wenger doesn't do anything about it. The formation is not suitable, there are not much penetrations, we can't take advantage of set piece situations, no free- kick specialists.
Only positive i can take from the game was Andrei Arshavin. he showed some lively spark at the beginning of the game. Hope he can blossom at the club.
God save arsenal...

Moral Policing or Hooliganism

In the recent past, Many parties and small organisations have taken into hooliganism in the name of protecting Indian culture.
Latest incident was in Mangalore, where a group of activists from 'Ram Sene' barged into a pub and pulled out young girls and started, molesting and assaulting them. And then 2 days back, a couple was pulled down from a bus and beaten. why? A hindu girl was with a muslim friend. What kind of democracy is this. How can a group of people, take law into their own hands in the name of moral policing and start attacking innocent citizens.
There will be no safety for woman in india, if such attacks continue. What Indian culture or Hindu culture they're talking about. Cultures never remain stagnant in a society. Cultures are always evolving and has to be progressive. While they take about the 'the bhartiya naari' . They don't understand you can't standardise any way of living, everyone have their way of living and should be allowed to do so. No one has the right to interfere with someone's way of living.
The great indian culture these people are talking about , is the very origin of the Sexual expression , ' The Kamasutra'. the sculptures in khajuraho rather depict various sexual positions and expressions, and is among those ancient beautiful monuments which is regarded one of the beautful works of Art. Isnt these things offensive for this people. But couples walking on the road or hugging each other even though they are related is offensive.
The Government here should take a hard stand against such hooliganism, which they wont because, it will affect their party alliances. First It was Shiv sena in maharashtra, and now Ram sene in karnataka, Half of the people doing these things, don't know why they are, they have been provoked and brain washed by their leaders like Mutalik of Ram sene.
If Govt. can't handle this, We citizens should form a parallel organization to handle such hooliganism.

So much to Say... Little to write.....

These days i get very little time to come online and blog. I keep thinking about stuffs i need to express in my blog, but when i actually get time to write, i kinda forget what to write,. Its like a though block.
Has anyone faced with such situations. But for me it feels a bit familiar.
Its happened to me quite a lot of times, Its like you are longing to talk to someone special for a long time. And keep thinking about what all to say to that person. But when finally time come , you sort of suddenly black out. Well thts very frustrating.
My days at work are going pretty fast, from giving general anaesthesia, managing cardiac surgeries, Intensive care unit to going back to my bed at night thinking bout someone and somethings. Lifes been a rollercoaster..
I hope to keep blogging more often...
