Mumbai burning

Mother India is crying... There is a series of terror attacks in india in the lasr 3-4 months.
Last night, a group of terrorists opened attacks in 11 places in mumbai. More than 100 killed, many injured, and many still missing. The ordeal has not ended, there are many trapped inside The Taj hotel and the Trident Oberoi. A batallion of army and NSG have descended to the scene, trying to gun down the terrorists and doing their best to save as many people as possible...
What is painful is even with so many assurances from the government and defense services, such attacks keep happening. So many people die, so many innocent fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters lose their, who will pay for the tears. Government compensation wont help.
Whos to blame in lapse of security, government, police, intelligence, no its we who are responsible. It is easier to blame these people sitting in a cosy cubicle in our airconditioned office. Its time as active citizens, we be more vigilant about suspicious people in and around you and help our government and police tackle such situations. The youth of india should come forward and enter active politics. To change the system, you have to be in the system.
All the political parties should stop blaming each other, rather come together and fight this painful attack by terrorists.
My tearful condolences, to the affected people and their families..

Goodbye

Sometimes when someone close to you goes far away from you, it hurts more than you ever experienced...
Sometimes you realize the importance of people in life only when they are far away from you...
Things may not be the same later, quite different from what you expected...
Sometimes there is so much to say, but when you realize its too late and you don't have time...
The good times, the bad times, if only you could rewind and play again, relive those special moments, even though its only for a minute....
The very thought of not able to meet again is disturbing, but thers always hope, a hope that gives you some courage to move on....
Life's got its share of surprises for everyone, you just have to wait for your turn...
Sometimes you miss someone more than others, you become more restless, feel you should have spent some more time, but the time is never enough and suddenly theory of relativity starts making sense....

Sometimes you have to say goodbye even though you never wanted to........

Anil 'JUMBO' Kumble Retires

The 3rd test match of the Border-Gavaskar trophy 2008 saw the ending of perhaps, one of the best spinners India has ever produced. His name is Anil Kumble.
It was real surprise decision with one more test to go in the series, many would have wondered , why he made this decision. He had a bad injury to his left hand while attempting a catch in the match. He might have to go a surgery in the hand to get it fixed, so he thought its the right time to retire. Anil Kumble had a really illustrious career in both One days and Tests for India..
He has taken 619 wickets from 132 tests, and 337 wickets from 271 matches.
First thing that comes to ur mind.. when u think of Kumble is  his undying attitude, whatever maybe the situation , he was always prepared to take any sort of challenge. One match u can never forget , is that test match against west indies, where he suffered the broken jaw. He got a plaster and came back in the field to bowl again, with that sort of pain, and took brian lara 's wicket. that was tremendous commitment by any sportsman. His achievements have no boundaries, Hes the only Indian bowler and 2nd only to Jim Laker in the cricket history , to take 10 wickets in an innings against pakistan, in the same ground, where he has decided to bid adieu today ..
This is a small tribute to the great Legend of Indian cricket  " ANIL KUMBLE "
