the other day one of my friends asked me a very interesting question.......
He asked if u n ur sum relatives close friends met wid an accident wid sum1.... n u see ur friend lying on the road struggling for life.... n also not far a person from the other vehicle is also seriously injured n struggling for life.... he asked me wht wud i do???whom will i save ?? my friend or the stranger ??
I was kinda surprised by his question.... I said , As any normal person, i wud be tempted to save my friend 1st then think bout others... But as Iam a Doctor, I wud 1st check both persons , n assess, who has a better chance of survival if we take him hospital on time, n then save tht person accordingly...... may it be my friend or ny1 else...n if possible save both......... Life n Death r 2 sides of a coin for doctor... There r no guessings, u must definitely knw which side u have to flip......
I ask u people wht wud u do??

I dunno... i think i'll be in quite a vulnerable state of mind ...n would probably go for the friend first. But its obvious tht wen ur trying to get medical help for one person.....any other person involved in the accident isn't likely to be left out .....i mean u can't pick one guy n leave the other fellow on the road.
However i will def. ensure my friend's stability first.
As for the administration of CPR...like u said ...it will be decided by the level of Criticality.

I think I'll be more worried about my friend.....but at the same time I'm not heartless to leave the other person alone, so I would try to take both to a nearby hospital...
